A staggering number of beloved babies die during pregnancy, birth and shortly after birth. And, mothers die during these times, as well. Some studies indicate that every 90 seconds a mother dies in childbirth.
In some pregnancy situations, it is known before the birth that childbirth is a potential danger to the mother’s life, as in most ectopic pregnancy and in some elective abortion situations. And in other situations the death of the mother is sudden and unexpected. Below are some resources and support.
